I wash my hands 15-20 times a day, is it okay?

The skin on your hands must be so dry. Make sure you're moisturizing your hands on a daily basis with a good hand lotion (organic or not). And you are going a little over board with the hand washing. I'm actually in the same situation here, I'm a big germ freak and wash my hands a little too much. It is considered OCD, but if it's not affecting your daily activities all that much, then it's fine. But try to decrease the amount of hand washing you do. I know it may seem hard, but you can do it, just as you can resist eating something in the car. Don't read about diseases on the internet, it's the worst thing to do. Hypochondria in other words can also lead excessive hand washing and OCD. Reading about that kind of stuff will only make your situation worse and you'll be more anxious. If you're worried about a condition related to your health, just go to the doctor, he/she knows best, not the internet. And just a little fact to add on here, the reason for increased prevalence of allergies in the United States as opposed to other areas in Asia or Europe, is because americans are so dependent on being around clean hygienic areas. This makes them more susceptible to many other allergies/diseases. People in countries such as India, are used to being around dirt which makes their body immune to allergies. Increased hand washing can increase the chance of getting allergies or other conditions. So at least try to minimize your hand washing. Hope I helped :)
