Can some one under 21 carry a hand gun while bow fishing a creek?

im 16 years old and i bow fish A LOT. since it is summer times snakes will be horrible. so i want to carry a 9mm in a holster where some could could see it. NOT CONCEAL IT. would i get in trouble for that? think you.
