Is my girlfriend lying to protect the truth?

when me and my girl text eachother, i found that she takes years to reply... all the time. she tells me that her phone is broke but i blatently know it isnt. what am i supposed to say, because if she takes it that im calling her a lier then it could lead to something tragic...? thankyou x
