Top contributors or people who have experienced this STD please answer?

I am not sure what the point of posting the long boring banter between the two of you was but anyway, people lie. You cannot believe what she says just because she says she doesn't lie. Are you really that gullible? I certainly hope not. If the Dr did NOT test for herpes as you have said then there is no way that he can be sure that you don't have it. The only way to test for herpes is through a blood test to screen for the virus. Until you get that done and receive results saying you are in fact negative there is no point in trying to convince yourself otherwise. If you have a bump or red mark on your penis then it is possible that it is herpes or genital warts. It's also possible that it is an ant bite, ingrown hair, yeast infection, jock itch, chaffing from masturbation or any number of things! Just go to the Dr and tell them that you want to be tested for herpes...it's that simple. And in the future I would suggest that you know your partner before sleeping with them and use a condom. The reason I say know your partner AND use a condom is because herpes can be transmitted even when wearing a condom if the person is having an active outbreak and any part of your uncovered genitals (example , testicals or anus) come into contact with an active blister. Also, in case you didn't know already, cold sores or fever blisters is a type of herpes (hsv1) so be aware of that as well when choosing a partner and do your homework when it comes to being sexually active and just go get the test already!
