Should I play Flute or Clarinet next year?

I played Clarinet in 6th , and I played Flute in 7th. Next year I'm joining Jazz band , and Flute would be weird in that. I'm in ColorGuard so no marching for me(no pesky liers , however you spell them). I am about the same talent level on each. My flute is payed off and owned , but my parents pay for my clarinet and I feel its wasteful not to play it . Help! Thanks
